Our Golden Time is a personal song about fatherhood. It was selected as "Outstanding Achievement In Songwriting Award" in the Folk/Americana category of The Great American Songwriting Contest.
Faster Than Loneliness Can Find Me was also awarded an Outstanding Achievement In Songwriting Award in the Great American Songwriting Contest.
I Lost A Hound, A Horse, A Dove is based on an enigmatic passage from Walden by Thoreau. It was selected as a Finalist in the Folk Category of the Song Of The Year Songwriting contest.
This Old Accordion/Before My Luck Changed was lauded by Adam Levy, guitarist and collaborator with Nora Jones, in a duo songwriter set I performed with him in Portland.
